Speaker Bio:
Vanessa Khan (Honours BA) is a Business Analyst, author, and speaker on thought leadership. She strives toward influencing and growing the BA practice. She is passionate about inspiring people and bringing about positive change. In her spare time, Vanessa engages in professional coaching, career mentoring, and writing.
As an up and coming strong presence in Calgary, she engages in thought leadership through her professional company, VK Inc. In 2017, she will focus on releasing interviews through her blogs by exploring such topics as business, and education outside of the classroom.
Originally from Toronto, Vanessa made the move out to Calgary in 2012 and never looked back. She began her career as a Business Analyst with Ideaca for approximately 3 years before starting her own company with a focus on business consulting, thought leadership and professional development.
In 2013, Vanessa volunteered for the Calgary IIBA® Chapter as the Vice President of the Marketing and Communications portfolio. The President, VPs, and former VPs at the time have worked together to achieve the esteemed Top Chapter and Most Sustainable Chapter awards.
