What is Software and how is it built? It’s not as simple as you think! - Part 1
Alan D. Goodbrand
When people read the title of this article they may be surprised. They’ll think, “How basic!”, “Every Business Analyst knows what Software is or they wouldn’t be a BA!”. In my over 2 decades of educating BAs, I’ve been amazed, and a bit disappointed, at how many people with the job title Business Analyst do not even possess the fundamentals when they come into my classroom. Only when a BA possesses the basics does the rest of their education make sense.
3 Tips for Keeping a Positive Dynamic with Dispersed Teams
Matthew Ferguson - Director of Consulting Services for ESI International.

As someone who has spent time managing dispersed teams, as well as coaching others on how to be effective in this role, I have compiled a list of three helpful reminders that leaders should be aware of in these situations.
If you don’t know where you’re going, you’ll end up somewhere else
Paul Robinson - senior partner with Corporate Oasis
As with most quotes from the famous Major League MVP Yogi Berra, the statement that “If you don’t know where you’re going, you’ll end up somewhere else” continues to resonate with wisdom and wit. This line of thinking is also highly relevant to the world of business, which undergoes continual change both external and self-imposed, particularly in a world of economic constraint, globalization, and increased focus on corporate governance. As a result, in order to continue to remain aligned with business IT must also be willing and able to adapt accordingly.
