Message from Your New Chapter President

John Wooden was a championship basketball coach at UCLA. He said, "Never mistake activity for achievement."
It's a powerful phrase. There are times when you may ask yourself, "Why am I doing this?" The activity may seem wooden or habitual. Or it may be ineffective.
We have to understand how and why our activities add value. We're all busy people so let's take stock of our activities to be sure they contribute to our success...whatever that may be.

Success looks different for each of us, but it's achievement requires mindfulness and consistency. For each activity, we need to ask ourselves?

  • Do I know why I'm doing it?
  • Do I know what I hope to see?
  • Do I ensure that I'm getting what I wanted?

This is how we work towards what matters.
