Vincenzo Aliberta, Ph.D., is an Author, Strategist and Change Catalyst with over 20 years of experience in business transformation, human capital and strategy consulting.
He is a highly experienced facilitator and negotiator with the ability to bring very diverse issues to common and agreed upon resolutions.
The above, coupled with his busines management and leadership experience have enabled him to understand and develop practical project based solutions that help organizations yield superior business results on their projects.
Passionate about education and personal growth, Vincenzo has written two books on the subject, and channelling his passion for business, one exploring Canadian Mergers & Acquisitions.
He holds a Ph.D. from Western University specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions and Foreign Direct Investment; serves as the President of the Canadian Italian Business Professional's Association (CIBPA) - Calgary Chapter, and is a former University of Calgary Senator.
Currently he holds an integral role in helping organizations find and develop talented leaders as a Chief Client Experience Officer at DMA Global, a recruiting firm based in Calgary, Canada.

Jared loves being a Business Analyst and has done so in title for over 15 years with over 25 years of business and leadership experience in both retail and energy sectors.
He is a strong advocate for IIBA®, having served in various capacities with IIBA® Calgary Chapter as well as chairing the volunteer Chapter Network.
Jared brings his passion for business analysis and experience as a Chapter Leader to the role of Director of Chapter Membership Engagement of IIBA®.

He holds his Bachelor of Arts degree in French from the University of Calgary and the Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®) designation.
He will take any chance possible to evangelize business analysis and will talk your ear off about the role and the profession should you allow him to do so.

Marlene Barker

Marlene Barker is practice lead, senior consultant at Veris Inc. Delivering onsite or remotely, she successfully leads and collaborates on initiatives resulting in positive sustainable change.
Marlene is a passionate advocate for the business analysis discipline, delivering strategic business analysis and senior management consulting services. This covers the gamut from enterprise initiatives to transformation, change, leadership and education programs.
Programs increase capacity through development of strategy, redesign of organization structure, clarity of roles, enhancement of business models, architecture and processes, and capability development.
She is a founding member of the global leadership program at the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®), is member of the Global Chapter Council and the Americas West Regional Director working closely with chapter board members.
Marlene is former President of an award-winning IIBA® Chapter, participant in industry advisory committees and presents at various professional conferences.

Ola Ifidon is a merit award graduate of Economics with MBA from Cornell. A life learner, Ola is the first Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) in Alberta.
She is a Business Architect and an ex-Accenture Strategy Consultant with over 20 years experience across various industries. 
As a member of the IIBA® community, Ola held board positions at IIBA® Calgary Chapter and co-authored the IIBA® “Managing Business Analysts” book.
She is a seasoned instructor, facilitator and featured speaker at IIBA® events, and currently a Strategy Practitioner and Managing Partner of ValCon Inc., a Management Consulting company in Alberta, Canada.

David Wear is a Practice Lead and Business Analyst practitioner for over 18 years. He has set-up Business Analyst practices at multiple organizations or worked to further the development of the Business Analyst profession in existing workplaces.
As a Business Analyst he has led organization initiatives in a variety of sectors; telecommunication, retail, automotive, agriculture, marketing & ecommerce, airline and sports manufacturing.
He is proud to have served as an advisory committee member at Mount Royal University for the Business Analysis and Business Process Management certification program.
Additionally, David has served with the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®) Calgary chapter as VP of Corporate Development supporting organization setting up their center of excellence..

Allan Buckingham

Allan Buckingham spent 10 years as a business analyst, and part of that time as a project manager implementing multi-year projects and ensuring executives meet their objectives.
The past 8 years Allan has been working with management systems designed to address company risk and improve business performance through a continual improvement framework.
Management systems consistently require executive endorsements for recommendations; to enable increasing organizational maturity, improving the architecture for decision making and ultimately the effectiveness for the way organizations work.
Allan is currently an Operations Management System Specialist at Plains Midstream Canada, where he manages the design and implementation of the management system across the organization.

Vardhan Mulik

Vardhan Mulik is an ERP Systems Analyst, based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He has more than 20 years experience in ERP Systems / Business Process analysis, Data Management, System and Functional Integration solution design and deployment.
He is currently pursuing an interest in Data Analytics with a focus on predictive modelling. He sends his spare time in learning mobile app development in a Cloud-based architecture to create predictive models.
An enthusiastic member of the Data Science Community of Practice in Calgary, he has also worked in the Retail Finance, City Government, Oil & Gas sectors in Supply Chain, City Utilities and Education-related projects.
Vardhan has been the Founding President of the Hampton Roads IIBA® Chapter, Virginia; a Board member of IIBA® Calgary Chapter, Alberta; The President of the PMI Hampton Roads Chapter, Virginia.

Mike holds a CBAP and has been active in the Calgary Chapter over several years most notably as a 'Mentor' in the Mentorship program.
Mike held the position of Director of Education from January 2018 until October 2019 when he became our Chapter President.
