Leading Transformation with Mary-Jo Williams

Thursday, July 21, 2016 -
3:00pm to 5:00pm

Join us and Mary-Jo Willams for this informative session! We all know how difficult change can be. Over the past two decades many organizations have introduced major change efforts aimed at total cultural or operational transformation, and many of those efforts have failed to achieve what they set out to accomplish. We need a new way of looking at and effecting change. Studies have shown that change can only succeed when people accept and support it. It is not enough for a leader to tell people to change; they need to understand the change, believe they can adapt and be able to take the actions necessary to implement the change. Yet most people resist change rather than embrace it. Many are reluctant to let go of old ways of doing things, or to embrace new ones.

This session will provide insight into how people deal with change, and introduce you to several tools to ease and accelerate the implementation of change. The program is designed for those leading others through change, but the information it provides will help all people understand their own feelings and reactions to change.
