How does a mouse eat an elephant?
You find yourself facing an onerous task: overwhelming scope, multiple layers of complexity. Where do you start?
Functional Decomposition may be a great place to start.
This session will explore the use of functional decomposition with a dash of traceability.
Speaker Bio: Director of Education, Mike Jones
Mike holds a CBAP® and has been active in the Calgary Chapter over several years most notably as a 'Mentor' in the Mentorship program. Mike took up the mantle of Director of Education in January 2018.
The Education portfolio includes BABOK® Study Groups, Mentorship Program, Academic Outreach, Certification and Recertification. Mike has been focused on Business Analysis for over a decade but has been in IT for much longer.
Throughout his Information Technology career he has worked in many different industries, including - and most recently - Oil & Gas Accounting, Geospatial Data Management, Project Engineering, and Telecommunications.
