Dear IIBA® Calgary Chapter Members,
As 2024 comes to a close, I want to take this opportunity to reflect on the incredible contributions and participation that have made this year a remarkable one for our chapter. Each of you has played a vital role in fostering a thriving business analysis community in Southern Alberta, and for that, I am truly grateful.
This year, we’ve shared many successes, including our Professional Development Day, numerous virtual and in-person events, engaging social networking opportunities, and study groups. Your commitment to learning and growing together was also evident in our Mentorship Program, where mentors and proteges came together to share knowledge and experiences—a testament to the strength of collaboration and mutual support in our community.
A special note of gratitude goes out to our Board of Directors and leadership team. Your dedication and collaborative efforts are the backbone of our chapter. Without your hard work and vision, the IIBA® Calgary Chapter would not be the vibrant, supportive network it is today. Thank you for your tireless efforts to ensure the chapter’s continued success.
To those of you who took time to connect with me personally—whether by phone, email, or in person—I want you to know how much I value your outreach. Your connection and feedback make a significant difference, and I encourage you to continue sharing your ideas and insights as we move forward together.
As we look ahead, I invite each of you to stay engaged, get involved, and give back to the business analysis community. Together, we can make 2025 an even more impactful year for our profession and our chapter.
During this holiday season, I extend my warmest wishes to you and your families. No matter how you celebrate, I hope you enjoy a safe, relaxing, and joyous time with your loved ones. For those who may find this season challenging—whether due to work demands, holiday pressures, or personal circumstances—please don’t hesitate to reach out to a friend, coworker, or professional for support. Prioritizing your well-being is essential, and there is always someone ready to listen and help.
Thank you once again for being part of our IIBA® Calgary Chapter. I look forward to hearing from you and seeing you at our upcoming events in 2025.
Wishing you all the best for the holidays and the New Year.
