A Personal Invitation to Reconnect, Grow, and Take Action This April
Dear Members,
As I often share, our members are at the heart of everything we do. Every event, every initiative, and every opportunity we create is designed with one goal in mind to help you grow, connect, and succeed in your business analysis journey.
April presents a unique opportunity to do exactly that.
We are bringing together a series of events that, when taken together, create something far more powerful than individual sessions—they create momentum.
We begin on April 23 with a virtual session, designed to provide timely insight into where our profession is heading and how you can position yourself within it. This is an opportunity to learn, reflect, and sharpen your perspective.
Just two days later, on April 25, we host a practical, hands-on resume workshop. This is where we move from insight into action ensuring that how you present your experience truly reflects your value in today’s market.
And here is where we take it one step further.
On May 9, we are offering a unique speed networking session with four technical recruiting firms and their recruiters. This is your opportunity to:
- Receive direct feedback on your resume
- Get in front of recruiters who are actively hiring
- Build relationships that can open doors
What makes this especially valuable is how these events build on each other.
You gain insight on April 23.
You refine your positioning on April 25.
You put it into practice on May 9.
That is intentional. That is value.
This is what we mean when we say we are focused on delivering meaningful, practical value to our members.
If your membership has lapsed, I encourage you to consider this your moment to re-engage. The opportunities available through IIBA and through our Calgary Chapter are designed to support you not just in learning, but in advancing. And if you are already a member, I invite you to take full advantage of what is in front of you.
Join us. Engage. Take that next step.
As always, I welcome your thoughts, your feedback, and your ideas. Simply reply. I would genuinely value hearing from you.
